Our Story
Since 2022, Professional Learning Solutions, LLC has been providing quality early childhood education. This includes health and safety, AHA first aid & CPR training, as well as preschool business and management consulting to the Texas area. Our team is made up of one registered trainer and early ed guru, D.D. Hutson; business consultant, Cody Patterson; and CSMRN infection control registered nurse, Kimberly Goode. As well as training, all three are owners of our very own licensed early childhood education preschool facility. We have a combined 40 years of experience working with children and in the early childhood education business.

Professional Learning Solutions, LLC was born out of all of the unique ingredients we bring to the pot. We love what we do and have a passion to pass our knowledge and know-how on. Training
Professional Learning Solutions has a registered trainer through the State of Texas who is certified to train preschool teachers throughout the state. We offer 1-on-1 individualized and personalized trainings as well as group trainings to preschools and their staff throughout Texas.

D.D. Hutson
DD Jett Hutson is a registered trainer through the Texas Trainer Registry & holds a permanent Director Credential in the state of Texas. She started her own preschool training company---Professional Learning Solutions---& has been providing CE training hours to teachers & directors at various preschools in the area. She has been in childcare for 28 years. Her passion lies in all things Early Childhood & she loves to encourage play & silliness in the classroom for all ages! She is a certified CPR instructor & will be training Van Learning Center’s new staff members!
Cody Patterson
Cody Patterson holds a Bachelor’s in Applied Science & Art with an emphasis on
Business Administration & Entrepreneurship and is currently back in school for his MBA. He has a year’s experience as a childcare assistant director/school-age teacher, over two years as director of his own preschool---Van Learning Center, six years in early childhood education altogether & 10+ years of experience working with children in a church setting. He has been a co-owner of a preschool training company--- Professional Learning Solutions---since 2022. He has an amazing ability to see both sides---from management to teaching & all things in between! Cody is co-owner of Van Learning Center.
Kimberly Goode
Kimberly Goode has been a registered nurse for 10 years. Before that she worked in childcare from the ages of 16 to 21. From there, she became co-owner of a preschool training company---Professional Learning Solutions. She has worked in med-surg for half of her nursing career where she became certified (CMSRN), & now works in infection prevention. She has a published article with the CDC regarding the work she did in Public Health during COVID. She is a certified CPR instructor & will be providing all the health and safety training for Van Learning Center’s new staff members!
